Thealogians agree that the word "Chuwg" means circle, circuit, compass, vault. Not "sphere". In fact, there is no word for "sphere" in ancient hebrew, the closest word being "ball" (duwr).
The most respected Davidson’s Analytical Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon disagrees with the lame one you found on the superhighway of misinformation, geek.
