I don't actually pay anything in taxes, I have too many dependents and exemptions working in my favor. Agreed, promises of equality are (while pleasant in principle) not present in practice anywhere we care to look. Your god, on the other hand, has the same authority as my parents did in this regard (which is none) and even less ability.
