I always get a giggle out of the notion that hijacking pagan this or thats was somehow a detriment to a faith or religion. Clearly this was part of a very successful marketing campaign. What I wonder though, is why it would matter whether or not fairy tales were of pagan or christian origin? Pro-tip - it doesn't - if the contention is that the one peddling them is completely full of shit. Religions change over time, they rarely survive the cultures they come into contact with intact, why would you expect christianity to be any different (and why should it be?)?
