No problem - then why not post PROOF of the existence of gods - and that it can ONLY be your god - and that any of the claims of the supernatural claims of the religion are true.
The problem with the claim that the ONE source contradicts academia - is that religion - has largely been established as MYTH and legend - built on Myth and legend. YOU have already done that in rejecting several thousand other gods. THERE is nothing in academia that establishes the existence of the christ - there is NO document from his supposed time that even mentions it (A myth is not a person).
However - over the centuries ACADEMIA has proven much of the things that were once considered to be the absolute inerrant word of god - to be nonsense - or simply wrong - in addition to having NO basis in reality.
Academia has shown that prayer has NO effect beyond that of chance when studied in statistically significant numbers. NO study ever published in an accredited science journal subject to peer review has ever shown that prayer is of any use.
Archeology has largely discredit most of the Old Testament - from genesis - abraham - moses - all MYTH. There is no evidence that a large hebrew population was in bondage to Egypt during the supposed time of moses - because there is NO evidence that the Hebrews even existed at that time.
AND - if you want to contradict a quote from the fairy tale book bible - you have usually do that with a quote from the fairy tale book of the bible.
Example - we KNOW that EDEN was nonsense - yet even in the NT - none other than the christ mentions that is was WOMAN who made the problem
