Why not? Is someone suffering from heart disease somehow less worthy of help just because he/she lives in the US? Is someone more deserving to die just because of geography?

Absolutely not, I just feel that there are people more in need such as starving african children. A lot of people suffering from heart disease have already had a chance to live.

That was a little harsh though yes, I don't know why I said it like that. What I meant was "If I had a choice between donating $10 to middle age americans or starving 10 years olds, it would go to the 10 year olds."
