There is no text in Quran or Hadith (Prophet words) that states that Islam is the religion of peace
Maybe some Muslims are confused because Islam is close to the Arabic word "Salam" (which means peace in Arabic)
We can say that Islam will generate peace between you and God or peace in your heart (True)
To be correct Islam should be called the religion of Sword
To correct it should be called the religion of pedophile prophet, stoning women, beheading for minor offences, antisemites and flying planes into skyscrapers.
And Islam is as true as any other religion which essentialy means that it is not true at all.
