You have selected that Doctor based on observations (His experience or recommendations), but you don't have a mean to verify his information (because you are not a Doctor), so you follow him based on your trust
This trust is not blind because it was built based on observations & logic
The trust is not based on belief. The trust is based on the fact that the doctor studied medical science and can conclude meaningfull conclusions out of his obervations, aswell as I have trust that I have the institutions provided to take legal actions in case of abuse of his possition as doctor or wrong conclusion.
The trust is based on a contract based on observations and conclusion.
Not belief.
