Just remember that in Australia EVERYTHING is out to kill you!!
The land, the climate, the reptiles, the mammals...the ocean and the rivers. EVERYTHING!
Not to mention the Sun, and IF you go anywhere TAKE ENOUGH WATER AND FOOD WITH YOU!
Reading up on Oz does NOT prepare you for the reality...our quirky sense of humour ..(watch out for Drop Bears) our hard work ethic/ recreational ethic.
Yeah I love my country as you do yours. It is ugly, hard, full of idiots and bludgers. But it is home and I HATE seeing a new arrival being lost in the desert and found dead when he/ she could have taken simple precautions.
Please also be aware of the "Wallace Line" The country is literally split in two climatically
