He does allow all those things to occur without stepping in to help. Prayers go unanswered all the time. That, in my book, makes him as evil as evil can be.

A lot of the time, God does answer prayers. He looks at sinners who ask God for things, and God says "you are praying me to remove sickness, but I gave you the sickness, because you sinned" and God doesn't heal them.

God makes people sick because they deserve it. It is sad because they get sick, but in another way, it is good, because they deserve it.

Justice is a sweet balm to ease the pain of men's cruelty. The LORD is the giver of that sweet, sweet cup, God will never apologize for what God does. He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but at the same time, I think God realizes how sweet it is to see the wicked eat the crops they have sown.
