Much like you avoid the factual issue that there is no justice after death. God's punishment seems to be something man created because sometimes men do have to face justice during their lifetimes before they die, but sometimes men face no justice at all. Is it fair that some men never face justice during their lifetimes? Sure, but that is life. Creating a god to punish them when life did not punish them is not the answer.
