Odin is better than jesus

In Nordic mythology, isn't the world built on an eyebrow of a giant which Odin slayed?? Way cooler than anything in the Bible.

Actually, they used the whole body.
To quote Auden's translation of the Vafthrudnismal (Stanza 21)

From Ymir's flesh was earth shaped,
The mountains from his mighty bones,
From the skull of Frost-Cold was the sky made,
The salt sea from his blood.

From Grimnismal (Stanzas 40-1)
From Ymir comes the cultivation of earth,
and from earth the ocean,
fortress of bones, bush from hair,
from his head heaven.

And of his brows did the gentle powers
Midgard for the sons of men;
but from his brain was the mind-wondering
clouds all created.

BTW, Does anyone know any good books on Nordic mythology? I could use a new book.

Well, there's the Poetic and Prose Eddas, of course.

And if you want retellings, there's "The Children of Odin" by Padraic Colum, "The Mythos of the Norsemen" by Guerber, and The D'Aulaires' Book of Norse Myths if you don't mind picture books with introductions by Michael Chabon.
