Faith in god

Faith in god
A while back I ran into the usage of the original word translated into English as faith. The meaning of faith has changed.

It was in the sense trust not belief. Faithful to the country not belief.

There are variants simply "I believe in one god" is literally I believe in the sense of trust not "believe there is" only one god. It does mean, I have faith in only one god.

All of the ancient statements mean the god was faithful not fickle as the Roman gods. Think about it a bit and see the different perspective the difference brings.
