First rule of being a conservative: Admit no wrong and never apologize(unless you got caught putting your dick in the wrong hole, because Jesus frowns upon that).

And even then, you ONLY apologize to Jesus, not to your wife who you cheated on or any other earthly human being who you wronged.

And the great thing for conservatives is once they tell their public that they have asked and received Jesus' forgiveness they are given it by their supporters too. Poor Weiner. He could apologize to each and every one of his former supporters and still be unelectable. Their is no absolution for those not supported by the medievally minded.
