Misdirection and Poisoning the Well. I wasn't talking about Bush's service in the National Guard. I was talking about how he got in and his motive for doing so.
I even allowed for the possibility that Barnes was lying and the Bush family was telling the truth. Even still, Bush went into the National Guard instead of putting his ass on the line in Vietnam.
Unless you can prove he tried to go to Vietnam but was instead forced into the National Guard against his will, he remains a chicken hawk.
Decimated =/= gone and no longer a threat.
