To be a Christian in the biblical sense is to acknoweledge that one will NEVER Be a 'good' person. (Even after he becomes a Christian.) So what does that make everyone who believe themselves to be 'good people.'
They are 'good people' apart from the establish standard of God. For they have found their own personal sense of righteousness. Or as Jesus identified this righteousness "Self Righteousness."
So again what does that make people who believe themselves to be good? "Good people" but only when compared to the ever changing morality of whatever pop culture defines to be 'good.'
