Note the all-important "and" in that first sentence. Nowhere does he say "don't bother posting this stuff unless you want to be told GTFO or STFU". What he actually says is "If you do post this stuff, please be aware that it's nothing we haven't heard before, so don't act surprised if you you do attract such irritated responses".
