Really what's to stop kids from continuing to kill kids and teachers and principles. What's to keep people from walking in malls and theaters and blasting people to bits. What's to keep the drugged out mothers and fathers from killing their children. What is going to stop any of it, all I see is less God and more crime.
I believe I've mentioned this before, but this "less god in public=more crime" has a limited operable shelf life even if it is true; once we go back to, say, certain theocracies from the past, the inquisition, the crusades, even the actions of god's chosen people as depicted in the bible (brothers liked to slaughter) then the amount of violence, rape, and slavery were way, way higher.
So, you know, in the periods of maximum god, things were sort of worse.
