Actually, you are not. People who appreciate the value of secular government are the majority. Any time you think you really have a majority, there's nothing we can do to stop you from putting in a Constitutional Amendment that will render the rest of us powerless against doing anything about religion in public school.
The majority of Americans are Christians. That doesn't mean the majority of American are anti-secularists. A lot of Christians don't want their children taught what religion to believe by government employees. Christianity comes in a lot of flavors, and there's a good chance the teacher won't be teaching their flavor.
