Culturally we were deep south being in east Texas. Can anyone else confirm this belief in other areas of the world anywhere?
I always thought it was odd and stopped doing it after I moved away from home.
True here in east Tennessee, with collards and some kind of pork as the meat. Grits and cornbread can be included.
