Maybe if you could see the similarity in generalizing about theists from what some theist said on a discussion forum with generalizing about atheists the same way, you wouldn't as wrong. As long as you think we're all alike, you're bound to be wrong. Just like when an atheist says something about Christians without qualifying it with words like 'some' or 'many'.
I don't see much chance to verify your speculation about our political skills given over 40% of Americans state they would never vote for an atheist for president. More would be willing to vote for a Muslim.

I think we are alike to the point that we are men of like passions and intellectual potential. Past that we are very different. However, I see a continuous thread of Atheist showing a superiority towards Theists that isn't there.
