For the same reason He also got rid of 1/3 of the angelic population who followed Him. Because they wanted what God had and if you read the passage in revelations I left, you would see they even are willing to go so far as to try and take it with one final War.

So do we. It's called prision. We seperate those who do not want to live in our soceities in the same way God does. His version of "life without the possiablity of parole just happens to last longer than ours.
