If you want someone to stay a Christian don't let them read the bible. Just have the preacher read bits to them at Sunday service. Letting them have their own copy to take home is just asking for it.

They might actually start reading it. Then Christianity is screwed. Lost another one!

Lol..Good point. I just got back in town from Kentucky. I went with my girlfriend to watch a traditional Catholic wedding. I got to see a full mast right in the middle of it. I was having a blast. The priest entered the church like a wrestler, intro music and entourage included. One of his posse members was carrying a giant Jesus on a stick, the other was parading an oversized bible. The church was chanting and singing until the priest got to his pulpet. Then after opening to a page in the middle of the bible and holding it in the air for 30 seconds, he announced that The Lord was among us. I have a hard time believing that my girlfriend and I were the only ones skeptical of that claim. Sooo funny.
