TRUTH! kudos...
Hopefully you aren't implying that atheist's cannot be pro-life. That would go against the whole "atheism is just a lack of belief" cliche.
he 'regardless' comment was me quoting another post. I apologize for not properly inserting the quote in line as the original author had written. I did not intend to create confusion, however, I do agree with the statement which suggests that theists are the ones who are curtailing women's reproductive rights.
On another note; I have met several women atheists, and they are some of the warmest, most intelligent human beings I have ever had the honor of knowing. I cannot say the same of the theists (men or women) whom I have met. Once I reveal my unbelief most theists treat me as though I had the plague.
Matthew 8
New International Version (NIV)
Jesus Heals a Man With Leprosy
1 When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. 2 A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, 'Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.'
3 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. 'I am willing,' he said. 'Be clean!' Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.
NOTE that the man with leprosy DID NOT ask to be cleansed, but rather asked Jesus if he were willing to cleanse him. Christians, on the other hand, run from unbelievers, or most often and more commonly, they condemn them, and are unwilling to 'heal' the atheist.
I guess 'narrow' path could also be called the 'indifferent', or 'judgmental' path.
