You were pulling up John v and not the op with your correction Nora. John v's statement was perfectly correct.
A young earth creationist goes one step further than the creationist in asserting that the universe is only 6000 years old. Both take the bible "literally" (but not the text literally/ as it was originally intended). All Christians (I've ever heard of anyway) believe that God is the creator.
