How "okay" could he be? He was standing on line to get into the fucking creation museum. Apparently even "god" thought he was an asshole.
He is an employee actually. But I wouldn't gloat if he had been seriously injured either. When my husband woke me up to tell me about it, my first thought was that maybe a child had been hit by lightning which would not be cool at all. I'm glad it was an employee and not a kid.
So anyway, today I saw an article by the National Center for Science Education comparing the creationist crapshack to another local museum. Their point being that the latter is not a museum at all. Good point but it's actually something else that pissed me off. They mention that an employee of the museum was reprimanded after stating from his own personal Facebook account that the creation "museum" is not a museum. He didn't say anything that should be controversial or shocking. I work for a science museum. Why should we have to censor ourselves for ignorant morons like Ken Ham? I'm very careful about what I say while at work but apparently I can't even let anyone know I work there on my own personal time lest I offend some stupid shit creationist.
