China interveined militarily in each of it`s neighbouring countries between 1950 and 1980.

Uh, no. Of all countries in the world China has the most land neigbhors, 16 in total. It only intervened militarily in 3 (4 if you count tibet as a separate country) of them between 1950 and 1980.

In the same period, United States intervened militarily in 36 countries. In some countries the US intervened 3 times.

North Korea, Vietnam, Tibet, Russia, India, Cambodia.
