1. It would have been quite a wonder for the ages if the then still backwards "people's war" China were to be able to intervene militarily in the then still nearly almighty land power of the USSR. What transpired was a border dispute resulting in a border skirmesh, in which the Soviet Union attacked the disputed territory first and easily held it.

2. China aided the cambodia with arms and supplies during Vietnam war, Cambodian civil war, and Vietnamese invasion of Cambodia. But AFAIK there were no intrusion nor threat of intrusion of Chinese forces into Cambodia, so there was no intervention. There was an actual invasion of China into Vietnam in the same period in response to vietnamese invasion of Cambodia, but we've counted that already.
