No, he said that "this generation shall not pass from the earth until all these be fulfilled." In other words, all the end times prophecies he was making were supposed to happen in that generation. He said nothing about the temple in Matthew 24.
It's not just that passage, but many others where he said, for instance, "there be some standing here who won't taste of death" until his second coming.
Jesus ain't coming back.
