Such ignorance of the bible is astonishing.

There is no cure for leprosy in Leviticus.
Go back and read it again and cure your ignorance!

The ritual stated was for people who HAD ALREADY BEEN CURED of their leprosy.

Oh Really? I think you're reading the modern meaning of cleanse into the ritual. Read what cleansing means in other parts of the bible. It is actually supposed to remove something bad, like sin, or debil demons.

First off, Leprosy is a bacterial disease, how would people then become "Cured?" There were no effective treatments for the disease at all. People could go in a natural remission stage, but would continue to carry the bacteria and be contagious.

The "Ritual" is to cure the bacterial infection after the disease goes into remission, to make the person no longer contagious, which is the only logical purpose of the effort. The society needed someone to judge the person clean enough to come out of quarantine and the priest purported himself as the one to judge and give a final "cleaning" of the bad "Ju Ju."

Never-the-less, he would have been wrong all the time and the ritual would never have "Cleansed" anything, it would have never killed the first bacterium. A REAL god could have told them to ritually soak in strong wine and actually do something to kill the bacteria, but not the jewish god! He is the god of mindless stupidity.
Find the cure for Fundementia!
