I agree that we should remove the taboo, but facebook is a permanent record of what you say and it's attached directly to your identity. That's very different with debating religion with a stranger on the street or with a friend or anonymously on some corner of the internet. Some of us cannot afford to do that.

So? If I am not breaking any laws the worst facebook can do to me is ban me. Big deal.
