In all the videos I've seen of them I've never seen the westboro baptist church commit a violent act or do anything dangerous, usually it's other people being violent towards them.
In fact I'm pretty sure they do still claim to love the people they protest against.
If I was going to point out dangerous things about christianity it would be being responsible for the persecution of witches which I think still happens in some parts of the world now.
That and the crusades although I don't know if you could say that Christianity was responsible for this as I'm not sure if there is anything in the bible that endorses crusades.
Islam is a bit different in this way because people have been killed for insulting Muhammad, Islam does allow you to attack your enemy the same way they attack you but to not transgress, what that means is open to interpretation.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
