Why do I follow Islam? Because every other religion is nonsensical.

That's not a reason to follow Islam. At most, it's a reason not to follow every other religion, because everyone else being wrong, doesn't mean the religion you've hitched yourself to is right, especially since you haven't factored in the possibility that they're all wrong.

There has to be something that is set as a standard. The concept of God is that He is the highest power. There is none higher than Him.

Why does there have to be something higher? Demonstrate, don't just assert. Bald claims don't mean much here.
