How do you determine which parts of the bible to believe? Or do you not use it at all?
There are two elements to that question, use and believe. I use the whole bible. I try to follow the red letters, the words of Jesus, particularly the sermon on the mount. I think he remains a great moral teacher. In terms of believe, it's hard to say. There are small but critical differences which show that these words were reported by men rather than dictated by God...
