The quran commands muslims to fight those who fight them. British and American soldiers are fighting muslims yet so many muslims don't fight back, some do and some don't.

Muslim scholars are not smarter than you . You can decide for yourself . For example "beating women" verse takes issue the "inhospitable women to their husbands" . So probably she(women) have some problems agains him(husbands) . Verse says firstly ; warn her , secondly ; seperate your beds and dont sleep together , thirdly ;"beat her" or "leave her for a while" . Which one is logical ?
They may not be smarter than me but a lot of them know more arabic than I do.
Yet I have seen youtube videos of people claiming to have spoke to the best Islamic scholars in egypt and they have been told the word used in the quran which people translate for beat actually means say words aggressively, yet many many other people translate the word to mean beat in a physical sense, I'm not qualified in ancient arabic enough to even enter the argument.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
