Yes, I've seen TVTropes and I like it and it's actually helped inspire me. But I still think what Anita has done is focus in on the small part that's about legitimate misogyny (small in comparison to the rest of the TVTropes site) and put a microscope over it.
I'm still inclined to believe that she isn't really into gamer/geek culture because I've seen a few geek/gamer girls critique real issues within the culture and they've done so in ways that show that they still appreciate and understand the medium. For example.

And then there's someone like Felicia Day who is absolutely beloved by geek culture and she doesn't go around looking for misogyny under every rock or behind every tree and she seems to understand what she talks about and she gets the context.
Sarkesian doesn't seem to me like she's a geek/gamer. She strikes me more as a feminist trying to critique geek/gamer culture and that's a very different thing. Sure, you can be a geek/gamer and a feminist, but she doesn't strike me as being both.
