They never consider the third option.

Them, "There is a God"

Us, "No there is not, not yours or any"

Them, "So you think you are God"

US, "NO YOU DIP SHIT, God/god does not exist so how can a human be a god themeselves"?

Saying humans make up gods is not saying humans are gods.

Atheists wont kill themselves to prove a point on that issue because we know it would be fucking stupid.

However the believer has the claim that God is all powerful and can do anything, so by that standard the believer should be able to blow off their own head with a shotgun and have God grow it back. However, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Suicides happen for natural reasons, such as depression or physical pain from illness, but the fucking most stupid reason humans kill others or themselves is over a fictional non existent sky hero.
