Might make people less reliant on wishing magic to solve their problems if they weren't indoctrinated in it in every facet of their lives.

And since you can't prove it doesn't work... what harm does it do?

I'm not going to let you shift the burden of proof and indulge in arguments from ignorance, especially when... well, I think children dying of treatable ailments is a pretty big harm.
