Seriously, you're now acknowledging that it DOES happen after being given examples, and these are two among many, but dismiss it out of hand?
Yes, it IS only a few among millions, but, as I stated, one is too many, especially when one of those examples is responsible for the deaths of two children.
And then there are the Jehovah's Witnesses who won't allow blood transfusions for their kids (fortunately many such cases are being overridden by the courts, but it does happen).
And, with many of these religious groups, it doesn't seem to matter what a specific individual or book MAY have said, it's their interpretation of those often vague words (which helps account for hundreds of Christian denominations).
