I've yet to read that story, or passage, so I can't comment on what it might mean. Not yet. But I wont shy away from it once I get there, because I know there are some things that look very hard to swallow- at first glance.
You make assertions there is no evil or immoral acts done by the Almighty and then admit to not knowing the material, while ignoring that said material may be the exact immoral/evil acts in question.
