I love Christmas! Love. It.
My love for it did not dim, either, when I became an atheist. My dad asked me if I was celebrating this year because I broke it to him this year. I said, why wouldn't I? I'm even painting a nativity set for my sister! She is the best Christian I know, and she loves me for who I am. I love her. I love her beliefs. She respects mine. I love everything about Christmas. It's a cool story, a baby birthday and all. My sisters daughter loves the idea of her stuffed animal being from the north pole and she moves it on her own to make me think it's magical--so I move it in return and she does think it's magical
It's fun!
That said, I am getting slightly annoyed at how every graduation and school music program I attend for my family commences with, "Let's bow our heads in prayer". I mean, AWKWARD!!! I just don't. It's not like anyone will see, their eyes are shut

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
