That aside, even you will find it hard to deny there are different branches or interpretations of Islam, such as Sunni and Shi'ite? This is as much a fact as anything really can be. These interpretations may not be the same as yours or even compatible with yours, but people do have them. Lots and lots of people.
Sects consist due to hadiths , not Quran interpretation . Allah clearly forbids in Quran to believe other things except Quran . Big part of muslims defines themselves in a sect and this situation does not change this is a big mistake . Also a large part of the people believed that the earth was flat and they had killed who say its round . Almost the same thing .
What you're doing at the moment is you deny the world's roundness .
I'm sorry WHAT???!!! OK, so sects are wrong because they are based on something other than the Quran. Crazy, but at least consistently crazy.
I agree that a large number of people were killed by religious people for expressing views in contrast to theirs, such as 'The earth is flat'.
The shape of the earth (globular, vaguely) is demonstrable, and I have seen very good evidence and that is why I will be happy to say the the earth is not flat.
What am I denying? I don't think I denied anything in my post. Also, if it is like denying the Earth's shape there must be equally compelling evidence for this idea as there is for the Earth's shape.
