Poll for Christians: Are the End Times imminent?

I'd say the same if I was an atheist. I'd be surprised if humanity survived the next 50 years based on it's decline towards further destructive tendencies.

We portuguese have an allegory to that position, "Velho do Restelo" or "the old man in Restelo". Do tell, what has gotten worse in the last 50 years? We have increased life expectancy, we are more tolerant, we have decreased hunger, desease and are able to gather more knowledge to make charity more valuable and worthy.

Do tell us where are we going wrong.
