Or do you care about women because you are a woman and you're looking out for your own to the exclusion of others.
What a douche. This speaks volumes about your own inability to get inside anyone's head but your own.
Yes, because the notion that someone could be a hypocrite is insane. We definitely don't have a political party that is pretty much a giant monument to hypocrisy ( I'm talking of course about Republicans )
What's wrong with questioning motives?

He's rude because, as a youtube partner, his job is literally to draw attention to himself. So when he goes on his hyperbolic rants, yes, it's part of his act. He's done a few more reasonable videos about feminism and rape lately and, yes, he does make good points there.
And it's not fair to say he hates women, either. He's called out Republicans, Christians and Muslims when they say things that are insulting to women or when they do things that are misogynistic. I just think there's this unhealthy habit certain feminists have of believing that disliking feminists or feminism is exactly the same as disliking women.
The most basic statement I see used to determine if somenoe is a feminist is this: if you support gender equality, you're a feminist. Well, if you define it that way, sure, I think most people would qualify as a feminist. But if you're going to send death threats to a blogger over saying "tranny" three years previously or if you're going to publicly shame a guy when you're evesdropping and don't like what he says or if you refuse to allow others to speak their opinion when it disagrees with yours, that's when you start getting into the stuff I disagree with. And that's all gotten so damn common on the internet, too. I mean, spend 10 minutes looking up the insanity on social justice tumblr (where the strong majority of the people identify as feminist; I even started a thread laughing at it: http://atheistforums.org/thread-22332.html ). And if someone is going to tell me I hate women because I think that kind of behavior is bullshit, I'm going to think they're just plain ol' stupid and deserving of being mocked.
I'm glad somebody gets him. He's not against women's rights, and I think Jacqueline Glenn pretty well covers that on his behalf at a few different points. Given that she shares his views on feminism.
I think I've said what I feel. If you want gender equality you have me as an ally, if you're looking to further your specific gender's issues and brush the opposite gender's issues under the rug you won't have me as an ally.
There is no God, so can we please get back to science?
