Pro-lifers are not against abortion because they want to tell a woman what to do with her body. They believe that the fetus is a living human being and therefore deserves protection. The body in question is a separate living organism with it's own DNA, separate from the mother's. The fetus feels stimulus and reacts to it. It's a moral and human rights issue. Does the mother care about her child inside her which she helped create or does she only care about herself and her own needs?
