Pro abortion or not

Somebody just had to open this can of worms, I am officially uninvolved.

My solution to issue however would be to require people to be licensed to have children, and ultimately pay either a hefty fine or hefty tax for if an individual were to have a child without a license.

Crime- greatly reduced
Unwanted pregnancies- greatly reduced
Foster kids- greatly reduced
Outlook of society- looks a little brighter

But since abortion would still exist until this would be enacted, I would have to be pro abortion just for the sake that women should have the decision of what occurs in their bodies. Although I do value human life otherwise with great extent and suggest that women who do not wish to have a child to put the child into foster care.

Caleb, don't you think money is a good reason people would be qualified or not for the license? Where would they get the money for the fine? Also, how would paying a fine help the unlicensed be better parents? I mean, the kid still exists, right? Unless you're talking about forced abortion... and I really hope you're not. Did you think this through?
