Am I wrong?Yes you are. Even though Victoria is the only State to specifically legalize "elective" abortions right up to the point of birth, in practise it's done right throughout Australia. Late-term abortions occur whenever mother's threaten self-harm or are otherwise considered mentally unprepared; and the life of the baby isn't considered against this (it's not alive until it's born, even if it's been 38 weeks).
