Well, we're all adults. I would hope that if it came up, we'd be able to have an honest conversation about it. Actually, that has happened in the past a couple of times, and in one instance, one of us involved couldn't handle it, and ended the friendship; in the other, everything worked out just fine and the friendship is going strong.

Crushes aren't the same as love. I imagine if one person in a friendship is in love with the other, that could be painful, but a crush? There are billions of people on this planet. I'll find someone to focus on who doesn't cause me heartache
