Actually,I knew that. I was just pushing the collective leg.
What a lot of people don't know is the Popes have also known for a very long time indeed.
One of them actually said ;"This myth of Christ has served us well" (Pope Leo X; Pope from 1513 to 1521)
Once you know that, nothing done by the Church or its minions is the least surprising.
