I honestly don't care. If gods are omnipotent beings, what on earth do they do with the worship, incense and prayers of the humans? No, if you are right and a god created the universe and mankind, it is because it's a twisted and sadistic being, who get kicks out of misery and we are merely a simulation, meant to amuse the deity like sociopathic children like to torment pets and critters. Even if any god was proven to me, I would of course acknowledge it, but it is not worthy of my respect, love and worship.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
