half the fun of a game was interpreting what the graphics were supposed to represent through pressing buttons and seeing what happened because the graphics basically looked like dog vomit. The fuck is even going on there? Who knows?

If this was the state-of-the-art in your childhood, and you learned how to play video games by trying to figure this shit out with your toddler's brain, as I did, Minecraft looks downright Hollywood by comparison.
